Welcome to Secret Code. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application ("the App") handles information when you use it.

The short version: Secret Code does not collect, store, or share any personal data. This policy exists to be transparent about that fact and to comply with applicable app store requirements.

                        Plain English Summary

                        Secret Code is a standalone code-breaking puzzle game. It works entirely on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, and no interest in your data.

Secret Code does not collect any of the following:

Name, email address, or contact details
Device identifiers or unique device IDs
Location data (GPS or IP-based)
Usage analytics or gameplay telemetry
Crash reports sent to external services
Purchase history or payment information
Photos, camera, or microphone access
Contacts, calendars, or other device data

Information Stored on Your Device

To provide a smooth gameplay experience, the App stores a small amount of data locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and we cannot access it.

Game progress and completed games history
Difficulty level preferences and unlocked levels
Game statistics (games won, average attempts, win rates)
Sound and vibration settings preferences
Music toggle settings

This data is stored using your device's standard local storage (AsyncStorage on React Native) and is removed when you uninstall the App.

Internet and Network Access

Secret Code does not require an internet connection to function. The App operates entirely offline.

The App does not make any network requests, does not communicate with external servers, and does not transmit any information over the internet.

                        Offline by Design

                        Whether you're on a plane, in a tunnel, or in an area with no signal — Secret Code works the same way. No data ever leaves your device.

Children's Privacy

Secret Code is rated Everyone (4+) and is designed to be suitable for players of all ages, including children.

Because the App collects no personal data whatsoever, it is fully compliant with children's privacy laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent regulations in other jurisdictions.

We do not knowingly collect any information from children or any other users.

App Store Distribution

Secret Code is distributed via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. When you download the App, the respective platform may collect certain information as part of the download and installation process in accordance with their privacy policies.

This data is collected and controlled by Google or Apple, not by us, and is subject to their terms and policies. We have no access to or control over information collected by these platforms during the app distribution process.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no personal information for us to provide, delete, or transfer on your behalf.

All data stored by the App exists only on your device. You can remove it at any time by:

Using the "Clear App Data" option in your device settings
Uninstalling the App from your device

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. If we ever introduce features that involve data collection, this policy will be updated accordingly and prominently communicated.

Given the nature of this App, we do not anticipate significant changes to this policy.
